Our Practice

Our dental practice has been established amongst the local community since the mid 1950's and provides dental services to thousands of people every year.

We know as well as anyone that your smile is one of the most noticeable and memorable features of your face. That is why the whole dental team at the practice work hard to provide you and other patients with the very best dental healthcare.

So, if you are seeking treatment or advice, or looking to register with our dental practice, do please contact us.

Patient Safety Charter

Every effort is taken within our practice to ensure patient safety, whether it is the
clinical procedure, purchasing equipment or the products we use. We adopt an open policy within the workplace where staff can discuss challenges facing them at work regarding safety  procedures for both them and patients visiting the practice.

We follow and, through the BDA good practice scheme, are kept up to date with the current guidelines and regulations set out by  the Department of Health, this includes;

  • Keeping  up to date with the latest infection control guidelines from the Department of Health
  • All dental instruments are either single use or sterilized according to HTM01-05
    guidelines and protocols
  • Work areas are decontaminated between patients, this includes the dental chair and handles
  • Practice  water is purified and treated and the dental unit waterlines are maintained
  • Waste is disposed of using the appropriate carriers
  • All  staff are CRB checked and immunised
  • We have vigorous processes in place which allow us to identify, assess, analyse and manage all risks and incidents

Avinash Bhundia and Ketan Panchal, the partners, have overall responsibility at the practice.
They lead and support the team through regular staff meetings and staff training. Appraisals and staff development are handled by the managers at the practice.

We welcome all feedback from patients, so please feel free to fill in the NHS Friends and Family feedback forms located in the reception areas and at the reception desk.
