NHS fee schedule
We are pleased to publish NHS fees for a selection of common types of dental treatment. These fees are only a guide and are for patients receiving and paying for NHS treatment only. Some patients, including children, are eligible for free NHS treatment.
As from April 1st 2007 you will pay one of the three charges below:
£15.90
This charge will include an examination, diagnosis and preventive care. If necessary this will include x -rays, scale and polish and planning for further treatment..
Urgent and out-of-hours care will also cost £15.90
or
£43.60
This charge includes all nesessary treatment coveredby the £15.90 charge PLUS additional treatment such as fillings, root canal treatment or extractions.
or
£194.00
This charge includes all necessary treatment covered by the charges above PLUS more complex procedures such as crowns, bridges or dentures.
These fees are reviewed annually by the government and usually increse on April 1st.
